Reece is influenced by a broad range of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, narrative therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), somatic practices, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and the principles of relational therapy. Clients can expect to experience a nuanced approach to therapy with Reece, with the intention of achieving therapeutic goals collaboratively and at their own pace.
Reece is available to work with a broad range of clients from adolescents, young adults, and adults. While Reece has expertise in working with the queer community, First Nations communities, and people involved in the criminal justice system, Reece is available to support people from all identities. Reece has worked across forensic and community settings in Victoria and Northern Territory.
Reece works relationally to foster a therapeutic space that is safe and affirming for clients, which requires input and feedback from clients during the therapeutic process. This process ensure client’s receive the type of psychological care they are seeking in a manner that aligns with their needs.
Reece views personal and community wellness holistically, with psychological care being one part of many.
